Senate House - Main Entrance

Client: University of Bristol / Project Value 200k

“Major refurbishment with careful programming to avoid client disruption.”

Major refurbishment of a prestigious building reception area while keeping the building operational.
All noisy works had to be completed outside normal working hours to avoid disruption to our client.

Works and Challenges

The works involved repairing and paint spraying the existing heated, metal-tiled suspended ceiling, removing existing floor coverings, laying polished ceramic tiles and new vinyl floor coverings, plaster repairs, a new reception desk, IT and decoration.

The building had to remain operational throughout the works, requiring careful programming and co-ordination to ensure that access and emergency exits were always kept clear.
