University Physics Building - Laboratory Refurbishment

Client: University of Bristol / Project Value 80k

“Strip out redundant laboratory equipment before carrying out specialist decontamination and disposal required by the equipment’s previous use.”

Works and Challenges

Once the unwanted laboratory equipment was removed and the area declared safe, the laboratories were refurbished to a clinical standard with the installation of specialist fume cabinets and laboratory furniture. Redecoration involved applying specialist paints to walls and ceilings.

Due to the long delivery lead time for the laboratory equipment, the programme was developed in conjunction with our client and supplier to ensure management and achievement of agreed completion dates.
